Having spoken many times to Reggie in the lead up to this announcement, I believe the Imperials reckon they are at a level between ENL and EPL. So we'll see if they're right
Whatever, it will be a great game and well worth the closed season hockey fix for all those who keep saying they miss hockey by the end of April!!
We've got plenty of time to plan a really good evenings entertainment and I know Reggie will be providing great support to ensure it's a success.

Yep, that would be my thinking too. Bulls were not EPL standard.

He's never written numbers before, but by looking at previous lottery draws, the FT and football magazines, he'll draw some scribbles on a napkin and you can use them to influence your choices!

Just kidding, Alph, love your logic! You should deffo come down and see Thunder sometime tho. Some damn good hockey to be seen and a really good atmosphere, even if the crowd can be a bit sparse!

I can't help knowing a little about hockey outside of MK. Mock as you like, but, if there is a weekend when Lightning don't play at home, I'll pop along.

At no stage have I written Thunder off, I just said that Bulls would have been slightly better than Thunder. Bulls won't be now though, as they no longer exist.

Hi Guys;

Just to add some info, the reason that we are coming out of season is that our players are currently all playing somwhere else. So as a result, we can only come together in late may. Furthermore, coming in June will keep our game from getting in the way of a regular season Thunder and Lightning games. At least this way, we'll be able to have the fan base to ourselves.

Also, this game is a test game. We are not sure what standard the ENL or the EPL is. So as a result we decided to play the M.K. Thunder in a test match, but the M.K. Thunder are allowed to use EPL players in the game. I feel it will be a great game.
