Hello to all; My name is Reggie;

I just wanted you to all know that I will be bringing my ice hockey team, The New York Imperials, to play your ENIHL team, The Milton Keynes Thunder, in a match this coming June 5th, 2010. I hope that you, your family, and your friends will all come out to see the game and to support your Milton Keynes Thunder. The day and time of the game will be:

OK, how do we find out more info on New York Imperials?

The only thing I can find is quite unflattering... "The New York Imperials are a beer league team in New York."

They're a rec team Alph. If you've ever seen any of the rec teams that have come over from New York in the past, you'll know that rec there is a far better level than rec here, as you'd expect.

They also came over to Ireland for a tourney in 2007.

Played several of the Irish teams. The only result I could track down was losing 6-1 to Dundalk Bulls, who at the time weren't too bad a side, but it was in June too, so out of season.

Edit: Flyers 5 Imperials 12 in the same tourney, so there could be a few goals around.

Glad to hear this is happening, it'll be good to see an American side up against our lads, even if it is out of season.

The New York Imperials are NOT a beer league team. We unfortunately do not have a website at the moment.

But, we were the team that went to Ireland in 2007. But that team was just a rec team, that I brought over. The team that I'm bringing over to play the M.K. Thunder is on a whole other level!

We will be playing only one game. As for a return match, we will have to see how everything goes in this game first.

There would not be much in it, but I suspect the Bulls side you played in 2007 would be a little higher standard than the current Thunder side.

Never seen a game. But, by seeing Thunders results, then comparing teams in this league, against teams in the North section, and then them in matches against Scottish opposition, who were playing Bulls last season, I can get an idea what level Thunder are at.
