Premier Sports T.V have anounced they have secured the rights to broadcast NHL games for the next four seasons, coverage starts in October. They are also in discussions with game content aswell. So lets hope they get intermission coverage.

Premier Sports currently is only on Sky format.

NHL game centre may be available through xbox live this season, though they have not officially anounced it as of yet.

Well that will keep my household happy. Signed up in February just in time to catch the last conferance games & the Stanley Cup play offs.........my boys are now living off the occasional repeat & matches that I sky+

Please no that means i have to watch copa america adverts every 10 minutes and miss goals when they forget to switch the game back on. ESPN please come back all is forgiven. I wonder what will happen to the winter classic, as ESPN have a tie in.

Shame, we are on Virgin Media with no Premier Sports :-(

Virgin Media did look into bringing Premier sports to their format unfortunately they turned them away as they do not offer strong enough sports coverage and events that will interest viewers.

i had premier sports last year. Cancelled it at the end of the play offs, and will next season be investing in game center for the ipad. Much better deal, albeit a bit more money over the season, but choosing to watch the Canuck games when i want and how i want will be much more appealing to me than some game that, has been rightly said, is interspersed with Copa America adverts and misses more of the game than it shows!

Have to say tho, i do miss ESPN America's coverage of it all...

Where can you get info on the game centre for iPad Dubbsie? It could be something I could consider.

you download the app thro the app store as normal. Its called NHL Gamecenter and is free for the app.

I believe u then subscribe to it to get access to all the live games. Dont quote me on this but am sure it was approx £110 for the season last year, which allows u to watch any game from any team live, as live or edited highlights (basically full access to all games)

Best people to ask and explain it all would be Skinny#49 or GoCanucksGo as they both had it last season.

Saves you £15 (i think) for downloading the full app and signing up through that.
