Well it all faces off tonight (early hours Thursday morning for us) The NHL 2012 Playoffs begin. Who you rooting for if your team didnt get in??

I'm hoping the Blues and the Yotes get through their opening round matchups in the West.

I'm going to go out on a limb and list my Playoff brackets for the opening round, feel free to disagree!

Although Daniel Sedin is still not cleared for contact after that elbow from blackhawks Keith last month. Need him back fit as he is key to the playoffs, doubt he will feature until about mid way through the first series though.

The rumour was that Dank would be back for the 1st game but thats now been changed to day to day. AV got quite annoyed in his media brief yesterday about this.
As you say, I think game 3 is a good estimate...Its not biggy really, the Canucks had there best run of the season without him.

Annoying thing about this years nhl playoffs. Premier sports tv don't have an highlight show like nhl on the fly. So still be missing a lot of the action from other match ups. I know we can go to nhl.com to view highlights but that's beside the point. Anyways could be blues year this season. They got a good record so far.

Well, my Playoff Bracket was pretty brutal; I got 6 out of 8 teams through in the first round, but had a Blues-Predators West final and a Devils-Rangers final in the East.

I'm in New Jersery at the moment, and I am not paying $1014 for a ticket to game 4. Compare that the cost of Coventry playoffs its absolute madness. I do hope NJ do the business.

But how tempted were you? LOL I paid $Can 320 for 2 tickets for a Leafs game back in October - that took a deep intake of breath! Don't think many people would have called a Kings/Devils final. Just goes to show that you never do know!
