Stanley Cup Playoffs

So for anyone here that follows the NHL, what do you see as the best match-ups for the first round of the playoffs (and more importantly, who and where will the teams fit into the playoff picture??)

Pretty sure the Sabres roll will carry on and get them into the playoffs, but will it be at the expense of the Caps, Sens or maybe even the Panthers (if they have a monumental collapse, that is...?)

I cannot believe every season how the Caps fall off at this time of year. They have all the ingredients to make a real push for the Cup but never get anywhere.

I follow NJ Devils myself and it's looking like we will face Panthers. So, yes hopefully a monumental collapse will happen first round!

I follow the leafs and I think we will miss out on the playoffs this year! Lol. Have to say on paper though a potential penguins v flyers matchup looks to be the pick of round one. I think the pens will come through that test and take the cup, if Crosby stays fit.

I don't think they'll win it all this year, but the Blues are deep and, man, have they got 2 hot goalies going into the post-season. Pieteranglo and Shattenkirk are 2 of the best D men in the world right now. They've played playoff hockey since Hitch arrived and don't look likely to let up. Plus winning the President's will give them home ice. They've got points in all but 4 of their home games since Hitch**** came in as coach.

Ducks fan so naturally disappointed they won't be making the playoffs but will be throwing my support behind the Pens.

In the West I think Nashville and St Louis are gonna be two tough teams to beat this year, young squads with tight defences and the offence is rolling too.
