When Kings were promoted, they failed due to not changing the quality of the squad to match the standard of the league we were promoted to.

Pete has put together a squad of players befitting the much higher standard of league we are now in compared to last year.

The volume of games combined with injuries & illness in the squad over the past few weeks was always going to take its toll & that is exactly what has happened.

Well looks like we are heading for 11th spot lucky caps are worse...No chance of playoff spot now..

Have we got the budget to compete at this level..

Less about budget and more about attitude.

You can't compete with 3 skaters on the ice repeatedly.

Really? I get that injuries are going to have an impact on any team where budget doesn’t get you huge depth but the PP is toothless and discipline worse.

There is no question the squad is much improved compare to last years. However, questions must be raised about how good some are at this level and whether they’re actually good enough on a week to week basis.

All teams are having suspensions and injuries. We are no different to any other team at this stage of the season. Take a look at the repeat offenders who are giving away stupid penalties. Poor discipline is by far the main reason we are where we are IMO.

The remedy for that is leadership on the ice and on the bench.
Every player should know whats expected and that their behaviour affects others on the team. I feel the Team should be introduced to the concept of Teamship. At the moment its like there are a few pockets of players working together and several individuals trying to influence a game on their own. The talent is there, just needs to turn a corner I think.

We re-group, dust ourselves down and get going again. This team is much better than the results suggest. It will come right. I'm enjoying everything but the final scores. It's our first season and I'm 100% behind the boys and know it will get better.
