MK Thunder is pleased to announce the signing of netminder David Wride for the coming season. Wridey will need no introduction to MK fans after his season with Lightning in the EPL eight years ago. Since then he has picked up ENL championship medals with Bracknell and Chelmsford Chieftains as well as numerous Cup successes before sharing netminding duties in Streatham last season.
Thunder coach Paul Gore is rightfully pleased that he managed to get Wridey into Thunder colours, “I’m really pleased with Wridey signing. In this league we need a goalie that can win us games and I believe he can do that”. Gore added “He’s got tons of experience and we’ll be looking for that to help Thunder go to the next level”.
Wridey will be wearing the #31 jersey and we’re sure he’ll quickly become a fans favourite as he’s a great guy on and off the ice.
