Default Stanley Cup Playoffs 2015-2016

As you probably all know by now the top three teams of each division qualify along with the two highest placed finishers regardless of what division they are in.

The stand out fact this season is that no Canadian teams have made the playoffs!!!

At the end of regular season this is what we have:

Eastern Conference

Metropolitan Division

1. Washington
2. Pittsburgh
3. NY Rangers
4. NY Islanders
5. Philadelphia

Atlantic Division

1. Florida
2. Tampa Bay
3. Detroit

Western Conference

Central Division

1. Dallas
2. St. Louis
3. Chicago
4. Nashville
5. Minnesota

Pacific Division

1. Anaheim
2. Los Angeles
3. San Jose

And this is how the first round of matches looks; remember itís not just home and away in the NHL itís the best of seven matches. I will update the results every day. First matches tonight, Wednesday. 16 Wins from here and you have a Stanley Cup.

If they play like they did the other week when we were there, you're not wrong. They were ripped a new one by the Canadiens.

Updates much appreciated MikeyG.

What's the overtime format this year for Stanley Cup? All the games I've seen so far have finished in regulation time. Is it the indefinite overtime periods system again? Assuming it's not 5 mins of 3 on 3 if people are scoring after 12 mins of ot
