For those of you that weren't at the End Of Season Party you may (or may not) know that Bethany and Jordan Elliott (or Team Pucky as they have come to be known) are off to Uni this year so will be giving up their roles as Pucky's Chief Keepers and carers.

As a thank you we put together a video which was shown on the big screen at the EOS do. Enjoy

Jesters and Canes off to Swindon

The weekend of 18th and 19th of May sees both the Canes and the Jesters at the EIHA Recfest in Swindon - Canes were Champions last year and will be looking to repeat that performance, Jesters will be looking to better their performance last year when they finished middle of the 15 teams.

If anyone is thinking a couple of days rec hockey sounds like a good weekend - the first game is at 10am on Saturday, finishing around 8pm unless the games run ahead of schedule. Sunday is a 9am start. All games are 14 minutes running clock - no icing.

Emberton Park 2013

Hi all,
After attending the fans forum this evening it had been mentioned to me about the usual Emberton Park fun day we have each year (apart from last year due to the poor weather) so........ It has been suggested the date for this as Saturday 3rd August.
There will be the usual BBQ (bring your own food), a mixture of some games which will include rounders, football and of course If he attends Gollyball. There was a brief mention that some of the team may attend which could open up a challenge game of rounders?
I'm sure that there may well be some alcohol consumed throughout the day!

Though it was about time we had one of these, so round one is out of the way and these are the results ...

In the Western Conference

Chicago beat Minnesota 4 Games to 1
Detroit beat Anaheim 4 - 3
San Jose thumped Vancouver 4 - 0
LA beat St Louis 4 - 2

and in the East

Pittsburg beat New York Islanders 4 - 2
Ottawa beat Montreal 4 - 1
New York Rangers beat Washington 4 -3 (thumped em 5-0 in 7th game away)
Boston beat Toronto 4 - 3 (after being 2-4 down with 1 m 40 to go in 7th game)

So the semi-finals look like this after last nights games.

In the Eastern Conference

Pittsburgh Penguins 4 v Ottawa Senators 1
Series (1-0)

Boston Bruins v New York Rangers

And in the West

For anyone missing their hockey fix the Jesters are in action on Sunday afternoon at 16:15 against the Birmingham Rockets.

I believe the Rockets are a new team to us and we've never played them so we're hoping for a good game.

Falcons vs Streatham -27th April

MK Falcons beat Streatham 2-1 on Saturday, with the winning goal scored in the last few seconds after Storm pulled their netminder to go for the win. Falcons scored first around the 50 minute mark and Storm levelled it with 5 minutes left. Not sure why Streatham pulled their netminder, as a draw would have them stay 2 points above Falcons and safe from relegation.

This result sees Streatham, Milton Keynes, and Solihull all tied on 6 points.

Swindon are bottom with 2 points and 2 games left against Soilhull and Streatham.
