The U18's are off to Sheffield for the weekend and are hoping to capatalise on there win from their home tournament. They will be facing some tough opposition, but as we all know the boys are up to it. This definately will be Paul and Jacks last duty for STORM as they will be seniors next season and Jan and Andre are going back to there homelands. So I'm sure they all intend to go out with a bang. WISHING THE SQUAD THE BEST OF LUCK IN SHEFFIELD. We will be there shouting your names and shaking our POM POM'S with gusto. Yehaa, here we come the massive from MK.:clap::clap:

Unfortunately Ross could only play on Saturday so only there for one day.

Guys beat Nottingham B and Solent & Gosport but lost to Sheffield A and Cardiff. Both Sheffield and Cardiff are fielding very strong teams and the guys gave them both a lot of problems and were unlucky not to get something from either of the games.

This morning the guys beat Manchester in a very rough encounter with 3 of their guys being thrown out along with one of ours.

2 more games this afternoon and then the season is over........at last!!!

Yeah, 1 - 0 and Dude scored...... yeah!

Guys are doing okay, think they now have to play Manchester again - they beat them first thing this morning 8-1 but it all started kicking off with 1 of our players being kicked out and 3 Manchester players......

Last game for 5/6 place was MK v Telford. Ended 0-0 with Telford winning 1-0after a best of 3 penalty shoot out.

By all accounts the game was not taken seriously as the guys had shared a changing room all weekend and got quite matey with each other.

Well done guys. A good weekend of hockey.

Now I feel would be a good time to wish Jack and Paul all the very best for their futures as they end their junior careers. Also best wishes to Jan and Andre as head to pastures new. Good luck to you all you all contributed alot to the team this season :clap:

P.S. the tournament is running over a hour late after a serious injury to a Chelmsford player. As a parent having been in this position my thoughts go out to him and I hope he makes a speedy recovery...

Sheffield A (fielding several EPL/ENL players) beat Cardiff (fealturing Elite/EPL and ENL players) 2-1 in the final, these two were the only defeats suffered by MK, apart from the "freindly" shootout to Telford, 2-1 to cardiff and 3-0 to Sheffield. A really good team performance over the weekend, best of which was the 8-1 drubbing given to Manchester @7:30 in the morning.

Junior career over, does this mean i have no more hockey related expenses:confused:.
