Planet Ice MK, Friday 20th October. Face off 22:15 or 22:30 (Gina?)

Milton Keynes Hurricanes vs Solihull Wolves.

Pop down to planet ice to see the first Canes game since losing top scorer Ben Marshall.

Should be a good game I hope.

with the recent additions of former thunder players Dan Steadman and Matt Lucas + some former Junior players this should prove to be an entertaining match to watch.

Lack of discipline cost us dear with their line 1 tearing us apart on the powerplay scoring 9 goals themselves most of which were on the powerplay.
If we can cut down on stupid penalties then we'll start winning games like that. We were good positionally and skated hard, just lost it with so many trips to the penalty box.

3 powerplay, 2 bouncing in from all angles, so all in all we had the measure of them at 5-5, just lack of dicipline letting us down. Still, the game looked very well played from the goal, well done to everyone who played and supported! Here's to the return leg!
