Well, it has been a busy Easter holidays already for MK Ice Hockey.
Nicks Hockey School, matches last weekend and a fair few this weekend.
The Under 14 Div have to MUST WIN away games, Chelmsford on Saturday and Guildford on Sunday (sorry Nick you can't go and watch now).
The Under 14 Div 2 are away to Invicta on Saturday and the Under 12 Div are in Guildford on Satuday.
Under 10's are in Bracknell for a 3 day tournament
Now obviously these matches will be overshadowed a bit by MKL making Coventry, but please try and give them a thought and we will keep you updated.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE SENIOR AND JUNIOR THIS WEEKEND

There is a very exciting tournament tournament taking place over the weekend involving amoungst others, teams from Guildford, Bracknell and MK and then there is some other piddling little tournament at Coventry. :p
Good luck to the U10's over the next three days. This is an extremely strong tournament this year and our boys and girls will have to be at the top of their form to compete.
Go on MK show them what you can do!
Good luck U14 div 2 and U10s - the experience of a tournament like that will stay with your forever - and if last years Hummer's tournament was anything to go by it will be competitive, well organised and a pleaure to be part of!
Hopefully someone will keep forum updated with U14 div 1 events as they unfold and good luck lightining - lets make it an MK winning weekend all round !! fingers crossed !! :)

Good luck to all playing today.
I was torn between U14's @ Chelmsford, U14b's @ Invicta & U12's @ Guildford. Good luck to all those teams as well as the U10's at their tourament.
I am off to Chelmsford for the first part of what will hopefully be a memorable weekend for MK hockey. I just hope the boys are not as nervous as I am feeling at the moment. Just 2 results from the league title but basically its down to who wins tomorrow at Guildford.
I know the boys will give 100% and that is all you can ask. Lets hope lady luck is shining our way.

Well, have just found out that U14 parents are the hardest to get hold off in the age groups......
7 mins to go and Under 14 Div 1 are 1 - 1, both teams playing hard.
Will update at the end

Final score was 1-1, not sure hope that now works out -but probably a win against Guildford tomorrow would be in order

The little ones down at Bracknell have had a mixed first day so far - early today they lost to Cardiff 3-0, but then won against Chelmsford, not sure of score (sorry)
Keep going Under 10's
Once i hear the U12 Div 1 and the U14 Div 2 scores I will update

Under 10's won second game 5-2 in a thrilling mach with Chelmsford.
The game was very close for a long time and MK were very ably back stopped by Brooke, who had an outstanding game. She stopped 3 breakaways and one diving save high to her left, like a football goalie!
Great game kid!!!
Stats:
Emma Bebbington 3+0, Will Attwell 1+0 and Ryan Coffey 1+0.
I am not ashamed, in fact I'm delighted to say that the girls won that game for us today!
Go girls, lets have more of the same tomorrow.  :D

A bit late I know but an update on the 14 b's. It was a bruising encounter which we lost 11 - 1. The ref seemed to be in a hurry to get away and consequently refused to call any penalties in the third period despite numerous incidents of charging, spearing, tripping etc. She even had to be told by one of our players that two of our team were lying still on the ice injured as she was pushing for the game to continue. Our boys played their hearts out and the score did not reflect the play. Well done to all our lads!
