This saturday sees the canes entertain the Whitley wildcats at the thunderdome (weather permitting). As far as im aware we have never faced off against this team before making the wildcats a bit of an unknown, however the guys will be looking to continue this years good form and extend the 4 game winning streak.

I do recall an epic road-trip up to play a Whitley Bay team back in the day, but not sure which one it was?? Awesome, All day travelling then choked on a Zamboni running on unleaded petrol, Great bunch of lads and good sport, but they hammered us, (possibly due to the alcohol intake on the way up amongst other excuses!! )
